using the You need to login to view this link extension usually redirects to the new website. it is also the safest since googling the new extension might result in a phishing website.

Yes, EXCEPT there's SO MUCH ******* EXPOSITION. The game has to explain EVERY LITTLE ******* THING TO YOU. I get that the game is geared toward younger players but HOLY **** it's like 35 minutes of gameplay before it begins to stop feeling like a tutorial. You figure virtually nothing out for yourself, and even if you select "No" when asked if you want to hear an explanation, it just gives you AN ABRIDGED EXPLANATION.

Pros in my opinion: Gameplay is pretty solid, original story (for a Mario game), colorful, fun, excellent use of the 3D and internal gyroscope (I think it's a gyroscope anyway).

Cons in my opinion: The game holds your hand through everything. You are spoonfed every solution to every problem, and when you lose a battle, there is actually an option to retry the battle on an easier difficulty.

Sorry for the wall of text, I'm really high and felt you should hear a detailed customer review.

I have a 3DS now and was considering a 3DS XL. You think you would be able to give an unbiased comparison? lol you can never be too sure...

But yeah. I LOVE my 3ds. Fits in my pocket perfectly and I carry it around with me all day. Have you had the normal size 3DS or did you go straight to the XL? It's pretty big, does it lose any of it's portability? Like it can still fit in a pocket as easily as the normal size or is it a noticeable difference? I'm sure it'll still fit in my pants pocket but will it be a bit tighter fit and a bigger bulge? Also the weight difference. Shouldn't be a problem but I wouldn't want to weighing my pants down and I need to wear a belt if I wasn't going to. I could always look up size and weight comparisons but I prefer asking actual people.

Thanks for your help!

If you love your 3DS that much, consider keeping it.
The XL fits into my pockets just fine, and I wear pretty tight fitting pants, most notably skinny jeans. It can slide in as well or better than a standard 3ds due to its rounded edges, but other than that, I never owned a standard 3ds myself and i've had limited contact with it. I also noticed that when i'm playing Dream Team, it seems a but blurry. I think it's because some games werent made with the bigger screen in mind.

Well I would sometimes borrow my friends 3ds and i admit that size of the XL is pretty big. Whenever i pull it out in front of people i know who don't know i carry it with me, they always comment on it's size. It's a bit heavier, but i noticed that they have different weights to them. My sister's newer pink 3ds xl weighs less than my blue 3ds xl. She told me that her friend's animal crossing 3ds xl was lighter than hers. It really depends on the kind of pants you wear. It would probably fit, but if your pants are too tight you might have difficulty sitting or squatting. I take my 3ds out of my pocket when i drive.
Personally the 2 main pros of upgrading would be screen size and double battery life.
it seems like you really care about weight and overall size. It's a noticeable difference in weight, as for size it's about the same thickness. It's really only a couple centimeter longer and wider.

The thing's unwieldy, you'd need a purse or backpack to carry it. That and a case so its screen doesn't crack. [It's manufactured using one big display, some is just covered.] One crack, both screens are done

It also refers to something else you say? Something to do with bays? Well how about that. $200 Pokemon Machine? you kidding me bro?
LoZ: Link Between Worlds, Fire Emblem, Animal Crossing, Pheonix Wright, Luigi's Mansion, Super Smash Brothers (soon), Monster Hunter, Professor Layton, Shin Megami Tensei, Kid Icarus Uprising Which is actually kind of amazing despite the fact everyone seemed to dismiss it as terrible when it first came out , MarioKart, a bunch of ports like Cave Story and Street Fighter, and those are just the games that I personally like from the top of my head.

The 3DS started life kinda badly, but it lived up to the DS's name and is pretty much the best console right now.

Best console indeed
Awesome library and with backwards compatibility it's even better than the DS

I REALLY feel like you need to add SM3DL in there. It's a great game. NSMB2 was nice, but SM3DL is awesome. M&L Dream Team might go in there too.

Like I said, those were just games off the top of my head that I personally enjoyed, not a comprehensive list of good games.
Also for some reason I just don't like SM3DL... I should have mentioned Dream Team though, yeah.

I can get what you mean, but this is a list to show the best titles from the 3DS library, right? Well, almost every 3DS owner loves SM3DL, and it's a great platformer.

You don't own any of it, you just have a copy of it.
