Next game: 1790s, Connor realizes hope is lost for Indians. He learns though that the french are very oppressed and there is still hope for them. Travels to there, crazy plot stuff, long game in paris (possible love interest who napoleon kills or something, goes for vengeance? good ideas...) and stuff until boom waterloo, exiles napoleon, saves the day, yay.

The third of connors trilogy: 1805ish Returns to America. 1810, british templars stronger than ever. Huge plot to overthrow american government, war breaks out (1812). Plot stuff, he's old now, fighting intensely. Slaughters british at battle of new orleans with andrew jackson, the two are good friends, connor decides hes a good guy and perhaps indians may make it. Settles down and becomes much like achilles, trianing guys but very sad story. Then... he's like really old, 80, and Andrew jackson is voted president. Trail of tears... ultimate betrayal of connor, he is enraged and dies a "failure". Would as good as ezio's story. And i think I should write video games or something...

So uh, how do these two assassin orders do things?

probably just kill enemies and templars together, and when they meet on the battlefield, they do the assassin hand shake and move along

I've enjoyed all the AC games released thus far (AC3 was a major disappointment but it was decent nonetheless). But I wish they'd take the time to polish them before they're released, otherwise we end up with a bug-ridden clusterfuck like the second half of AC3

And I genuinely hope that fucking crafting/trading system in AC3 gets trashed. It was aggravating, it was absolutely no fun in any way, and all the time wasted on creating something damn near everyone hated is directly responsible for all the technical issues present in the later portion of the game =/

i didn't have a problem with bugs in the game and i enjoyed the crafting/trading in the game in my opinion it was way better than just buying a store to receive money hourly. the problem i had with the game was the first half because it was basically a long ass tutorial and the story didn't get good until connor got the robe

Yeah, 5 sequences before shit got real was a little much. I guess I ran into more bugs than most because I did every single sidequest. I had to redo one of the homestead missions at least 7 times because my assassination target didn't register as a hostile, so I couldn't attack him. We were all just standing there staring at the guy as he was kicking in the door of a house.

The trading aspect of the system was decent at most, but I absolutely hated the crafting portion. It basically forced me to dick around in the frontier in hopes of finding minerals if I wanted to have access to better weapons since they only sold the basic shit in stores =/

Its a working formula why change it? same goes for COD or Battlefield, or even Mario the longest lasting

they just need to come up with an original base idea and put different mechanics in.
I mean, look at dishonored - A stealthy assassin game that is set in a steam(whale)punk city ridden with plague and the more people you kill the more the disease spreads and so it changes some stuff and the story outcome. give your own gameplay innovation - arcane studios' previous "creative ways to kill" thing that goes on which pretty much came from DMMM (their previous game) but done better + a whole lot of other mechanics.... hey presto you have an original ip!

I still enjoy AC, Halo, CoD and Bf3 though. but i still wanna see something new.
Props to black ops 2 and the "pick ten" if only there was a little bit more.

Apparantly BF is going to be like 60% ship battles, one of the few things that I liked about AC3(ruined the series for me). Plus, you get to swim around and roam islands for booty.

I thought AC3 was fantastic. Yes, it could have been better, Ubisoft could have fixed those bugs earlier on, Connors story could have been longer and more deep. But overall I think it's a damn good game.

i thought it was ok but i agree that it could have been way better. overhyped by Ubisoft..

for me the mechanics needed a little work and they rushed the shit out of the ending. in other AC's if you attacked a guard you would be chased by a few guards and maybe run into a few more and that's it. if you kill a guard in AC3 you run into a platoon of soldiers, half of which are as skilled as you and if you try to escape on the roof....there are 50 guys with guns up there

That is since armor was the tool of the day back in the first ones. Armor was too heavy to get on rooftops. In AC3 people are unarmored and acrobatic. Also it isn't that bad since between the parrying system and his arsenal he is damned near unbeatable.
