Since the author has given you the choice, if you think Frisk is a guy, you must rationalize unlikely statistics to fit a SJW-like mindset where androgeny and homosexuality is praised to the point that it's shoveled into the game disproportionally and all characters a gay.
If Frisk is a girl, then we hit that 4% that Alphys and Undyne happen to be gay/bi whatever.
If you bring up that "They are not humans, though. They are monsters and could have different statistics." Personification. It's literature. The monsters are meant to reflect people.

As for papyrus I think he's Asexual because - you know - HE'S A SKELETON. No dick n' balls - no sexuality. He only went on the date in the first place to please you but in the end he admits he wants to keep the relationship platonic.

gmarrox (11/18/2015) [-] What determination actually is will be explained towards the end of the true ending, but if you don't care about spoilers: Determination is the word for the property of human souls that allows them to persist after death, hence why you can come back after you die. This is coupled by the fact your character has a unique ability to reset timelines (reset the game)
