teoanon (12/13/2015) [-] I have yet to do a genocide route myself but I believe that's supposed to be Chara/The fallen child you name at the beginning of the game. From what I understand Chara wasn't the kindest person and its stated that he hated humanity from Asriel and I guess he plays a role in the genocide run. As to why he's appearing behind Frisk I'm not sure since his soul was stated to have fused with Asriel after he died.

calmindiandude (12/13/2015) [-] I believe that's supposed to be Gaster. He is a bit of a mysterious figure throughout the game but it's believed he has a lot of powers of space time manipulation due to a terrible accident that involved him falling into the core.

Dr Gaster The former royal scientist, he fell into one of his inventions (either The Core or the machine Sans can't repair) and apparently his body and soul got erased from all timelines so hard it caused certain people close to him to become similarly erased, though to a lesser degree (the hidden NPCs you can get to appear by messing with the game files). The most popular theory is that his consciousness is still hanging around though

loganmadder (12/13/2015) [-] I don't get why everyone thinks Gaster normally looks like this, he fell in the core, no? If I had to guess, he looks like this because of melting and/or his bones cracking, or jest because this makes it really apparent that he isn't normal.

anonmuncher (12/13/2015) [-] I love the idea of Papyrus and Undyne freaking out over Alphys. The whole reptile thing never sparked the idea in my mind that she'd actually shed her skin. I feel that'd be pretty much anyone's first reaction if they didn't know about an animal's ability to get rid of their old "shell".

majormoron (12/13/2015) [-] Extremely story driven. If you dont like a good story, then its not for you. And some people dislike the story too.
My fiance hates the gameplay and gave up after 20 min. I was mad at her for not even trying but its meh. I wont push it.
