Its an RPG that's a lot like Earthbound. It's charming and there are two play styles: genocide and Pacifist I highly recommend watching a lets player's first video to see if you'd be interested in it. Hope I helped

Undertale is a $10 indie game with an RPG-style gameplay and an interesting turn-based combat (or non-combat) system, and easy puzzles here and there in the game. It was made by a guy named Toby Fox, with a little help from many people. The real draws to this game for me are the story, the loveable characters, and the soundtrack.

I watched most of a playthrough and then stopped to play the game myself. I loved the game, and though I have only played it for 9 hours (it's a short game, with a lot of replay value) I am completely obsessed with it.

It's been talked about on the Co-Optional podcast for the past few episodes, and the Super Best Friends Zaibatsu (namely Matt & Liam) have begun their own playthrough.

The game is based more around decisions than mechanics- whether you choose to SPARE opponents, or FIGHT (and kill) them. Because of this, the two ends of the spectrum of 16 endings are the GENOCIDE run and the TRUE PACIFIST run.

Another thing about doing multiple runs... the game knows what you're doing. It lets you know it knows. I'll leave it at that.

The characters in this game are cleverly written, fun, and interesting, and they make up the best parts about the game- which, for me, was consistent throughout the whole game. It's on track to be my game of the year, personally. Some people would think it's a stretch, but I find it hard to dislike anything about this game other than the fact that I want more of it and there isn't any at the moment.

TLR buy and play the game, it's $10. Also buy the soundtrack if you think you'll like it- some of the music is soothing and other songs are hype as **** .
