Dude. I went through the game with his name flittering through my mind. I prepared myself mentally to fight him for so long. It was a fantastic fight, with plenty of build up for the man.
The entire trip with people building him up,
fish lesbian saying she could never land a hit on him,
the tale of sir fluffy buns,
hearing of needing to kill him to get through the barrier,
hearing that he was a beloved king to all,
The walk through the area before his home,
then his home,
finding out he was santa,
finding out he's unageing due to losing his son,
I thought he had to be a liar or someone evil just putting on a mask to kill humans that he fought against so long ago, just to pull a fast one on his subjects, to get their adoration. ... then him pulling out his trident smashing the mercy bar, and then keeping his head low as well as his responses to all the *act* commands... And his attacks each and every one were amazingly fun to avoid!
Asgore definitely deserves more love. It just confuses me why the big blonde bastard doesn't get enough love that's not from the furries' r34 I understand the other's love, but the lack of his is what gets me.

i actually think he did the right thing, if he had gone to the upper world and taken 6 souls for himself to break the barrier, another monster vs humans war could have begun, and even if they won, what kind of peace would they have achieved? a peace by the sword is easy to obtain but its not peace at all, just a threat

blackmorecrest ONLINE (12/30/2015) [-] I know this makes me some kind of simpleton or whatever, but for me its Hopes and Dreams, Save the World and His Theme. To me they all represent the climax, not just because "Hurr Durr Final Boss theme so gud" but rather the sheer force of emotion I felt during each phase, The raw determination when dodging Asriel's Shocker breakers and weaving through his Chaos buster shots. The burning hope that was present when we were saving all the main NPC's and finally the pure sadness and empathy that destroyed me when saving Goat Bro. All three were a perfect melody.
