I wish I could say I was sorry.
But I haven't even played the Geno-route yet.
And I probably won't.
I still haven't finished the first playthrough yet.
I am at Asgore fyi
not that you really care I am just saying
but then again you seem to care an odd amount seeing as how many of these you have opened
assuming this works as intended with all the spoilers inside of eachother, otherwise this is just going to be an odd wall of text.
but going with the presumption that this all is working, how are you? I'm thinking having at least a slightly better day than him <<<
Though I guess it doesn't matter now does it? I Can't truly respond in a meaningful way as this has all been pre-written inside of a series of spoilers so long it is unlikely that someone will go this far in. Speaking of, this brings up an important question: How far are you willing to ride this train of mind-numbing rambling?
Apparently pretty far! So what should we discuss? Again, not that you have much sway over the direction of this conversation as it was started and finished long before you ever even clicked 'reply' though I feel I should ask to give an illusion of choice to keep you compelled to keep reading these. Tell me, is it working?
I see that it is (Not really, see the whole discussion we have had (Though again, not really as this is very one-sided) on how this has all been pre-written) so again going on the presumption that you are continuing to read this, I bet you are wondering 'Why did they start this, what are their end goals? Their sick and twisted kick they are getting? What is their gender, and can I get their number!?!' Well to the last one, no. But I can answer the first one, and second as well. Onto the first:
I just kind of... Started typing and didn't stop. No real goal in mind, no sick and twisted kick I am getting (Oh look at that I have answered another question too), and as for the second, I have no goals through this.I am just bored enough to see if anyone want's to go down the rabbit hole far enough to find out the secret at the end.
Oh I didn't mention that there was a secret? How Awful of me. Here's hoping we don't run out of letters, eh? Oh and that's right, I'm Canadian. A little 'fun' (Read as: Useless) fact. But away from secrets for now, I believe I mentioned a topic was needed for conversation? I guess we still need one of those.
But sadly, one does not come to me. It truly is a great pity. I am sure you are taken aback by this development and are sorely awaiting the topic to which we shall converse? Though again I would like to point out that we aren't actually conversing as this is just a wall of text with a secret at the end, that was written far in advance.
seeing you so taken aback has left me with no choice, I must give you a short reprieve from me so you can regain your composure

There, feeling better? I hope so. You know the world is full of mysteries (Much like the end of this chain, isn't it fitting that it is contained in a spoiler, or rather a series of them?) and there is so much to explore. So much to do. So many tasks, chores and potential fun you could be having. But I suppose the anticipation burning like a curse at the tip of your cortex is a kind of fun, and it keeps you rooted here, doesn't it? 'What is the secret? Why is he waiting till the END? What if he runs out of letters?'
But fear not, I don't plan on running out of room (Though I suppose nobody truly plans on things like that do they? I still have at this count: 101 letters. That count was taken at the 's' in 'letters' if you were curious.
I said my gen

i haven't played undertale and i'm relatively hesitant. from what i understand the game is fourth wall breaking as **** and if you go genocide route in order to play the game again you, the player, have to sell your soul. but what if flower was so genre savy and fourth wall breaky that he's the one that made undertale to get people to give him their souls so that he could get the power to save back? what if he's an actual real life monster and is playing humanity for a fool?
The stuff under the spoiler thingy ... either you've been misinformed or there was some sort of sentence structure mistake. Either way, Undertale is definitely worth playing. Just don't Genocide. Do Neutral or Pacifist. I found Pacifist to be the most rewarding but if you absolutely need to try Genocide then just restart from the beginning after you fight Sans. His battle is the hardest in the game and is really the ONLY reason outside of being a stubborn completionist or being a heartless a$$hole to play the genocide route. After Sans the only other thing is some scripted dialogue in which you "kill" Asgore, you kill Flowey and then the garbage with Chara happens. With the soul and stuff. If you just reset before that then your game will be fine. But be warned, if you do play the final little bit after Sans then the Pacifist ending actually becomes the worst ending and there's no way to undo it. The characters are doomed! Unless of course you don't care about that stuff cuz you just see them as a bunch of ones and zeros.
So fellow Anon, provided you're still lurking around, please do play Undertale. It is sooo worth more than $10 to me and is currently my favorite game of all time. Can the fanbase be toxic, yes, but dont let some over zealous fans scare you away from, imho, one of the best games ever made. But please, at the very least, play a Pacifist route first, k.
As the other guy said, only two characters break the fourth wall, and it's not even that fourth-wall breaking.
Yeah, not all "reloads" or "resets" truly reload/reset EVERYTHING, as the game remembers things you've done even if you don't save.
BUT, even if the game gets cheeky with you, you can always go back if you know which files to delete in the game's data folders. I've done Genocide, sold my soul, deleted some filed, then played Perfect Pacifist without any incident.
If you don't want to do Genocide, then don't. It's a route made only for those who are, well, "determined," and just a little bit sadistic.
Neutral Pacifist > True Pacifist is how the game is really "meant" to be played, as that is the best way to play it and get the canon ending.
Its not that simple. Undertale acts kinda like a virus and saves **** all over your computer. Specially if you do Genocide run. Gotta jump all over the place looking for dumb **** .
Who is this Gaster dude? I've beaten Undertale on Neutral and Pacifist, but I don't remember him. I've seen him in a few other comps though, does he have something to do with True Lab? Is he that thing that puts a blanket on you if you sleep there?
i think he was the first royal scientist before dino chick forgot her name, been a while since i played it but anyway, its said that you can glitch the game or find some kind of secret that shows his model in a hidden room (explains why people knows how hes drawn) and some other secrets that i cant remember, if you just look up undertale secrets or bugs on youtube you will probably find him
he's basically an enigma within the game universe. According to all information, he was the royal scientist before Alphys, and built the core. He died(supposedly) when he fell into it. The riverperson mentions him when he says "Beware the man who speaks in hands". His name is based on the font Wing Ding Aster(canon info ends here) fanon states that he got erased from existence when he fell into the core, and now resides on a higher plane, observing the entirety of the Undertale universe, and could possibly be related to Sans and Papyrus due to the font naming connection. Sans, especially, if you look in his basement, you see a machine and a blueprint with, as the game says, "indecipherable symbols"(possibly wing dings), so sans could have worked for him, and that's how he attained the ability to be aware of his existence across saves, along with some of his other powers also, on sans' fight, the dragon looking things that shoot at you are called "gaster blasters" in game files.
