There's also a much bigger sense of achievement since the pacifist bosses are easy as **** when compared to the genocide ones, it's just the fact that you have to grind for so long to kill all the encounters that makes genocide not fun.

I actually think the genocide run is so amazing due to the fact that you get to see another side of the characters you befriend in the pacifist runs.

Besides Alphys, I thought that all of the characters were likable anyways, but the general rule of storytelling is that in order to make a good story: 1. Make good characters; 2. Give them hell.

By becoming the evil it gives each of the boss characters (plus Alphys), besides Muffet and Asgore, the opportunity to be the protagonist and I think that's great that the genocide run lets us see that.

On the other hand, if the player were to do a genocide run on their first run I don't think it would be nearly as great. You would need to do a neutral and true ending run first in order to completely appreciate what goes on in genocide IMO.

2 - What is the ******* harm in that. Are they forcing you to play it again? Just because people post a lot of **** about it doesn't make it a **** game. So surprise people might play it twice. Going to play the devils advocate here, But those 2 times are at the very beginning and near the end of the game,
the first time, Flowey just calls it love, where you're supposed to learn later in the game that it means exactly as said, Level of Violence, which is just to catch the player off guard. it may not be a Huge spoiler, but I think it's still something that would raise eyebrows for the player base.
