I'm pretty sure you're overthinking. It's just a humorous abandoned quiche. Frisk went to that mountain all be herself.
(Yes I WILL call her a her, you can't stop me.)
I can see that, but if you want to go with genderless pronouns (which I really think shouldn't go on with living mammals) would be it, as they is used for plural.
Well I don't see a better option without resulting to the even sillier options of xi and xer. In general, I mean. If we're still talking about Frisk, he or she or they if you really want to be safe all seem to work.
I think you're overthinking, but:
If your inventory is full when you try to take it, you get a message like "You weren't ready for the responsibility".
The character is meant to be either. The game never specifically refers to Frisk as a he or a she. Out of all the sprite art in the game Frisk has some of the lowest amount of detail I think.
>>#9, the answer to both of your question is answered at the pacifist ending
toriel asks wether or not frisk has any place he has to go to. there you can decide if frisk was abandoned(ends with frisk living with the goat mom) or just lost (ends with frisk leaving for his supposed parents)
Huh, I guess that's an interesting way to see things. I went with Frisk having "places to go" at the end, because I felt like they had a family to return to.
Oh my god, I ******* love bone, I did not think of that when I saw this post, and that makes me sad, Dear god Smiley bone is like Papyrus, And it is amazing.
I like how silly a lot of it is. But then it gets serious and pretty dark. I like the battle mechanics and sparing mechanics. I like that each boss battle introduces a new kind of battle. There's also a ton of easter eggs. I got it because I thought it would be a fun, silly game and I ended up questioning life. 10/10.
you can go into the game's files and replace all instances of your name with a different name, and it'll use that name. you can use unusable names and names that go past the character limit this way.
At least, I HEARD you can do this, but i've heard multiple people say this, and there's that image right there, so I'd assume it's true.
Why didn't they build a ladder or a flying machine AND JUST FLY OUT THE ******* HOLE WHERE PEOPLE KEEP FALLING IN?!?!?!?
I mean if it takes a human and a monster soul to be able to pass through the barrier at the end then that means the hole in the beginning has no barrier becuase humans pass through it just fine... Unless the barrier is a one way door.
It's explained somewhere (don't ask me where I forget) that it IS a one-way door. Humans can go in through the barrier but can't go back out without all the human/monster shenanigans.
You're asking for sense out of a game with talking skeletons that like to make spaghetti, giant 2-legged goat people that harvest the souls of humans, a robot infused with a soul that wants only to entertain AND a village filled with...things.... called Tem. Having a one-way barrier is the one that makes the MOST sense
The barrier IS a one way door. Anything can get in but to get out you need at least a human and monster soul. And the only way to get a monster soul (as they disappear on death) is to kill a "Boss monster" as their souls are the only ones who lasts after death.
So far in the game there were only 2 boss monsters.
Attempting to name the protagonist "Gaster" will cause the game to return to the intro; however, you can edit your Undertale.ini file and change the protagonists name to "GASTER", restart the game, and it will run normally.

But I think he may have just done some save file ******* and just changed the name he chose at first to Gaster so he could circumvent the game trigger when you choose a name at the start.
