The only reason he even survives that long in the battle against Frisk was because of the fact he dodged her/his attacks. In this situation he got caught and well hes kinda ****** .

Am I the only one that thinks that when you check him he changes the atk and def so he gets you by surprise?
I mean, he can cheat by dodging, and putting bones in the menu. And when you check the letters look funny. I'd not be a suprise that he can change the check description.

therealkakashi (11/29/2015) [-] It's not just a "display" thing. As far as the game's actual math/functions go, he literally only does 1 damage to the player.
However, unlike every other monster in the game, he deals 1 damage per frame. Meaning there's no "damage boosting" or "invincibility frames" from his attacks. That means you can take something up to 40 damage of second from him if you remain within the collision zone of one of his bone attacks.
As far as HP goes, it really doesn't matter when your finishing blow to him does 99999 damage.
However, unlike every other monster in the game, he deals 1 damage per frame. Meaning there's no "damage boosting" or "invincibility frames" from his attacks. That means you can take something up to 40 damage of second from him if you remain within the collision zone of one of his bone attacks.
As far as HP goes, it really doesn't matter when your finishing blow to him does 99999 damage.

By the time you reach Sans at the end of a genocide run, it is very clear that he has become wholely determined that you will not be walking away. The combat potency of monsters being tied to desire to fight can be seen in almost every fight and is referenced in the library books, as well as being a game mechanic: make a monsters name yellow/strip their desire to fight entirely, and attack them for an instant kill... And Sans can do that right back to you, if you accept his offer to spare you. (You let him turn your name yellow and he can instant kill you too. Get Dunked.) Basically, once you've reached that hallway, the fight is difficult because Sans wants you dead more than you want him dead. And the theme of the fight is as he dunks you more and more, this feeds your own determination and desire to see sans dead, and eventually you will beat him or quit, ending the meta-conflict.
