I say hurry up with it pewdiepie. Think about it, it's near Christmas, people are buying and gifting gifts, small chance Undertale will have a steam winter sale (probably like 10% off at most). The game is friendly to casuals and kids alike. Toby will get lots of money by the end of this year.
The game has already been ill since it's been out, held a few cancer cells known as homestuck. The game also struck luck when it released half a month before october (aka "SPOOKY SKELTAL RIDE LEL") and my how relevant Papyrus and Sans are to that topic. I'm pretty sure everyone has now put Undertale as a semi-cancerous fanbase (like Avatar, they were cancerous like people once said.. but where are they now?) Unless Toby makes a sequel soon enough this game will end with a bang as the tumor pops spreading it's cancer among the new fans who will also die down. Better to do that than simply let Undertale die a slow gradual death.
I predict Undertale will be so cancerous that rolling an undertale image may result in red thumbs almost all the time by February or March 2016. Undertale will die off from the center of attention after the summer of next year. (However, Papyrus and Sans will always revive every October.) This is if Toby doesn't make another sequel or even update Undertale.
So yes, it's bad. At least Toby could make big bucks from the publicity pewdiepie will give to the game though.
So to all fans I say, if it happens at least the dev benefits and who knows maybe it'll bring new fanart, non cringy fanart, maybe it'll arrive at something you never thought i could arrive at. At this point Undertale will disperse it's seeds as the main tree dies.
And to the haters I say.. wait till March and you won't see Undertale as much as you used to, barely in fact. It'll be as common as any other fanart so don't fret about the seeds.
