Frisk is a time traveler though, the only difference is that its his mind traveling through time, not his body.
It's weird, but if Frisk contained this ability to save and load all through their life, a single day could last as long as a month, and with that logic, Frisk would be much, MUCH older than anyone.
he isnt a time traveler. he can reset time to an earlier point via save system. not specially travel through time(except forward with a very slow pace) not only that, but there is no indication that frisk was able to use the save function before coming underground. specially since if i recall correctly; save function was something gaster might have invented.
Where did you even get that Gaster created the save and load ability?
First time i've heard of it....
Anyway, the save and load ability IS without a doubt a form of time travel, just not in the normal sense. He's literally traveling through time itself, it's just only his mind is moving on, not his body. It's STILL time travel....
And as for the ability itself, I don't see why he suddenly wouldn't have the ability after moving OUT of the underground.
Obviously this scene, if it were to happen, would almost definitely not be after only one day. Assume Frisk took every oppertunity to do every nice thing possible for everyone around him every single day.... A single day could be a months time of constant saving and loading. For Frisk and everyone else to suddenly move out and have their own house, that should definitely take more than a month....
Basically, though Frisk's body is young, his mind is not. Is it still pedophilia? Sort of, yea? But it's only half as bad as it could be.
dndexplain claimed toby had stated that. and its not travelling through time as much as its resetting the entire time..thats a step above just travelling time. and again, you are assuming frisk has always had the ability to travel through time.. which i dont think is really supported by the narrative.
There are also a LOT more possibilities top ground, than there are underground i'm sure.
If you have ever felt the feeling of, "I wish I could do better" and start over, Frisk actually COULD do that.... So.... It depends on if he's done all this before.
because not only is there the theory that reset points were made by gaster. the fact that you have no earlier save points and the fact that frisk apparently has no idea how the save function works imply this.
also there is no implications that frisk is in anyway special from rest of the humans.so thinking that all of the humans would be using reset all day long is sorta ludicrous.
That still wouldn't explain why Frisk CAN use the save points, and the fact it happens all of a sudden is even MORE suspicious, in fact, considering 6 other humans all died before him, this just serves as proof that Frisk is even more than just human.
Unless the ability was made to exist after the 6 humans died, and flowey was made while Alphys was in charge if I remember right, and Gaster was obviously before Flowey if this were the case....
Huh....
Hold on, something clicking for me, ill get back to you when I get it clicked completely.
simple: frisk has more determination. its shown several times during the game that determination is the key in using the save function and such. and the amount of determination also determines(heh) if you can use the save function or not. for instance when floweys determination (or charas) overpower yours, they delete your save position and abuse it on their own accord.
also something is wrong with the notifications....
Alright, so I think all 6 humans died before Flowey was made, and they all died when Gaster was still around, but after Gaster died, something in Time itself changed. I don't think Gaster MADE the save points, I think they're probably just a by-poduct of his death. After all, a life form being wiped from time has to have some effects on time itself.
Now, why is the whole system determination based?
I don't know, determination is an enigma wrapped in mystery that I can't figure out already, so figuring that out is impossible....
On a side note, Asriel would've been one badass monster, considering how much determination he has, huh?
