I looked it up on Tumblr, and the tag was used by men, by women, it was used in conjunction with a masculine tag, a feminine tag, a masculine AND a feminine tag which is where I started getting really angry because those two are mutually exclusive, so I have no ******* idea.
If I had to guess, I would say given the current etymology that it's someone who was feminine and became masculine, but I can't think of a situation where labeling that would be of any use to anyone, because that's not really something that need labeled I mean for ****** sake you could just say "I used to be more girly, but now I'm not" I swear to god these ******* feminists go out of their way to complicate the English language,

Rarity, despite being arguably the whitest pony in the show, is darker than anyone in the content.
Twilight is nondescript Asian color because smart.
Rainbow is usually Brazilian or some **** , Pinkie is nondescript white,
Applejack is the wild card though.
Every artist has some strange, half baked reason as to why the cowboy-hat wearing farmer with a southern drawl isn't white.
And don't even get me started on the artists who cast everyone as black but one dark Mexican chick...
It's really kind of counter-productive to diversity if you're drawing someone as a certain skin color just to make them not white.
Especially when they have a white accent, personality, and disposition.
