instead of complaining about it. How about you just skip the channel? userscripts-mirror.org/scripts/review/177935 its not like one person is posting content. If there's a **** load of fans and a third of them want to post content, that's still a ******** /3.
Gameplay's kind of meh, but the writing and characters are what carries it. However, be prepared for a bit of a memefest. Sure, it does it more tastefully than most games, but it still uses a LOT of internet material.
Also, I advise you to not kill anything. The game will punish you for it in ways your heart and anus will not bare. It does the Dishonored thing where the more of a dick you are, the harder the game becomes and you get a waaaaaay ******** ending. Except here they cranked it up to 11. Don't kill **** .
54. And trust me on this, you do not want to kill things in this game. You will regret it. Besides, the main difference between Undertale and your standard turn-based RPG is that you don't actually have to kill anything, you can spare it instead. The game becomes boring as **** if you're killing **** , because you just oneshot everything in the game, excluding two bosses, whos' only purpose is to make you dread life and regret killing things. The fun is in figuring out how to beat enemies without killing them, since every enemy requires a different approach. There's **** like a ripped dude, who challenges you to a flexing contest or a tine-deaf siren, who can't attack you properly, because she can't hit the notes of her song or a self conscious ghost, whos' puns you have to laugh at. And then there's all the dogs, which you have to somehow figure out how to pet in completely different ways, while they're trying to bisect you. Pic related.
It's actually kind of hard to kill monsters, since a lot of them are so non-threatening it's not even funny. Some of them are pomeranians, for ****** sake. There's even a retarded goat you have to fight at one point.
LETS PUT IT ANOTHER WAY, THE GAME REMEMBERS!!! EVEN IF YOU DELETE ALL CONTENT, THE GAME WILL STILL REMEMBER YOUR SINS AND TORMENT YOU THROUGHOUT THE DURATION OF THE GAME. IT'S REALLY A BRILLIANT BIT OF GAME CODING
It's not quite 'the more of a dick you are the harder it is' type thing. Your first play through you should kill some stuff, not kill some stuff. That's what the game kinda suggests.
It is a memefest though. It has made me giggle a bit.
Don't look at the image if you don't want spoilers.
