Should I do a Let's Play of Undertale?
(A.K.A. Should I pander like a famous youtuber, at the expense of my own soul.)
If so, what run should I do, should I impersonate all of the characters, should I leave all of the footage unedited?
Or am I just a complete faggot and should go back to doing SFM's regularly?

I would say do it.
One recommendation is alter the amount your mic picks up your voice, and make it a bit clearer. I would increase mic sensitivity, and then do a bit of alterations in some editing software to make it more crisp.

Be sure to give me a mention when if you do!

I cut it out of the preview, but when I did Papyrus' voice, it hurt the ears.

I'll try to fix that in some way later.

It's a game that takes 4 hours to play through, at most. It's very short and... well, I don't see why people are doing LPs of it. It's really not the kind of game that needs 20k "clever" quips a minute to make it worth watching.

I recommend neutral/pacifist first, as genocide is time consuming/difficult and locks out out of Pacifist. That and Genocide has more of an impact if you actually know the characters a tad. On the other hand, not knowing them could be the way to go if that's how you prefer it. But you'll have to cheat with some files if you'd want to see the other ending. That and neutral/pacifist would be decent practice for Genocide, as the latter is way harder than the other two.

I would recomment it if you haven't played it yet. Because the best parts are that you don't know what's gonna happen and your reaction to it.

I think the most important thing you should consider when choosing a game to LP is whether or not you think you can give entertaining commentary while the game is going on. It's easiest to do this when it is a game that you have some emotional investment in, whether it is a game you really love, or a game you really hate.

Just for god's sake don't try to do a game that you really have a hard time caring about, or else you'll run out of things to talk about rather quickly.

Remember, the difference between an LP and just watching game footage is the commentary given by the player. This means you are basically there to entertain the audience while you play the game, whether it is through discussion of the content, reactions to the content, or just telling stories if need be. So your decision should be based on whether or not you think you can keep an audience entertained while playing this particular game, compared to any other option that you have.

if you want to do it you should:

1make sure it is your first run

2do a neutral run where you spare everyone yet don´t become friedns with alphys.

3save where sans judges you so you can get the key to his room and see something behind his house.

4 do a true pacifist after befriending alphys.

5 do a genocide if you want

6 if you do a genocide run you are a terrible person, kill yourself

Don't do it, Undertale is a game that you have to play by yourself, without a worry of spectators.

It's a game you play Solo, but share experiences AFTER it's all done. A let's play will take that away.
