Is there something I should be doing to enjoy this game more? Snagged it because I kept hearing it was amazing...I'm on (spoilers?)
the part where you just beat the megatton (gaming robot thingy) and so far it's been...ok? Funny at times. Not amazing though. Haven't really killed too many people except for the cow lady early on...felt bad about that. Didn't want to. But yeah...since then it's just been meh. Papyrus is cool though

Beat the game as you are now.
Then go for a pacifist run.
Like guy bellow said, most of the emotional power comes from the ending scenes, but the game is clever in other ways, trust me when I say a second play through wont be as stale as you may think, on the second one I recommend going out of your way to discover stuff you might have missed however.

Honestly, a lot of the raw emotional power comes from the endings of the game, so i suggest beating it on true pacifist mode to really get what others get from it. Thats what i'd reccomend
