When I finally decided to do a genocide run, I was majorly pissed off in real life. With all my anger I swept through everyone and everything with only a speck of remorse to show for it. Seriously, I cried on the pacifist run, and now I was barely flinching killing the characters I though I would rather close the game on than hurt them.

That is, until I reached Sans... Boy...
When he stopped to spare me it hit me like a ******* truck, with all the grief I held in packing in the back.

"i know you didn't answer me before, but... somewhere in there. i can feel it. there's a glimmer of a good person inside of you. the memory of someone who once wanted to do the right thing. someone who, in another time, might have even been... a friend? c'mon, buddy. do you remember me? please, if you're listening... let's forget all of this, ok?"

I couldn't take it and reset my save. His praise for my going back on something I so worked hard for was the nail on the coffin.
Got welcomed by a sarcastic comment from Flowey in the ruins. Did the pacificst ending all over again and have left the game in that state since.

If that's true then Sans accomplished the only thing he was made to do. He stopped a player from finishing a Genocide run. I can't say the same about myself, with every failed attempt I grew more angry and more determined to beat him and in his own words "Because I can." I have chosen to live with my decisions despite going back and playing through the game again and again.

But you. You felt something. You're not the soulless husk of a human lost to the void like me.

Y'know, after I reset I felt like this is exactly what Toby would make as a requirement for a "true" ending. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but that comment from Flowey at the begining really made anticipate a different ending if I was gonna do a pacifist run.

Sadly, everything went exactly the same except for some of those "I remember you from somewhere" bits.
For a game that's supposed to be really meta, you'd think that Flowey and Frisk knowing all there is to know about each other and the timeline would change the ending up a bit.

I got the true happy ending the first time.
I get obsessive, so when the game told me I didn't have to kill any one I was filled determination.

i gencided it, i figured itd make the game harder, my friend told me beforehand the different things, i thought itd be

pacisifst = easy mode
neurtal = normal
genocide = hard mode

obviouslly not like that, entirely, but thats why i did it.
