never seen a cyclist sit on a red light, they all ******* pass

>tfw a cyclist just blasts over a zebra crossing assuming that I'm supposed to stop and let him cross

Every ******* time.
If you don't walk your bike over the zebra crossing then you are supposed to wait until I've gone past you.. I don't know how many times I've made a sudden stop thanks to these faggots.

The other day I was on a main road at about 11 at night, and there was a cyclist going along the middle of the road in all black clothing with no lights on his bike, no reflectors, no helmet and was cycling one handed with his phone as a torch in front of him.

The lights on the car weren't that great, and if we hadn't seen the person in front swerving ahead and hence been looking out for something they would have been hit at 60mph right up the ass and would have died. No question.

Some people are just stupid. MFW

I cycle to get around. I don't own a car. I use signals when I change lanes (which is more than can be said for a lot of drivers). I keep to the side of the road so I don't obstruct traffic. I stop at red lights when there's traffic. And I don't "demand the same rights as cars"...I just don't want to get run over.

But if there's a red light, and there's not a lot of traffic (I'll always check), and I'm rolling hard..... **** that red light. Unlike driving a car, it actually takes effort for a cyclist to stop and get back up to speed, especially on hills (pic relevant). On top of that, when I do stop at a red light, half the time I get honked at by the driver behind me for not getting up to speed quickly enough.

I dare any one of you to ride a bike around a city and NOT get fed up with that.

And bring on the red thumbs.

I'm a broke ass bitch who can't afford a car so I have to bike or go back to walking an hour to work and back (and because I live in a hilly area it is uphill both ways). Its super ****** . I wish I could afford a car but it isn't possible on my very sad wages. I don't live in a city so I stick to the back roads when I can and cars scare the **** out of me. I keep my eyes open and try to be careful because I know who would win in a fight between me and a car.

I've almost been hit more times than I would like to think about because someone wanted to get where they were going about 15 seconds faster or wasn't paying attention. I stay on the sidewalks where there are no bike lanes because I can't possibly go as fast as cars would like.

I obey the rules of the road and I get **** thrown at me all the time for simply existing. Cars hate me for trying to be on the road and pedestrians hate me for being on the sidewalk where I am fairly safe. I wish we had better bike infrastructure.

I've personally never seen a really bad cyclist that I can remember, plenty of ****** drivers, I will say that cyclists seem to think that there's no bad road to cycle on and that if cars go on it they can too when really it is impractical and makes it harder for cars to progress.

I dont understand the situation he is in, it looks to me like he's sitting in the middle of a large empty parking lot thinking strenuously how to diffuse a bomb that when it explodes it literally only like a 20 foot explosion, he could just ******* WALKED away from the bomb and nobody woulda got hurt.

I find it confusing that other countries barely have road for cyclists. Where do they cycle?
