There are good American tv shows, but they're all American originals. All their remakes are usually shit, either because they don't get actors that fit the roles correctly or they try to turn it into their own creation and spoil what was good about it in the beginning. I'd understand if they were remaking something instead of dubbing it, but they're taking tv shows already made in English and shooting them again. That being said though, I can understand why they did Top Gear, that is so they can have hosts that the audience can relate to better, and the Australian Top Gear is probably just as bad as the US one.
