L Henna Anderson Yes, it is. Programming and robotics are
necessary and actually important. Unless is goingto
actively help women being brutally killed and maimed in the
Middle East and Somalia, I dont see a point in constantly promoting
yolocaust.

L Henna Anderson Then again, tthink you and feminists
are too chicken **** to actually touch the severe amount of misogyny
and abuse in those locations and elsewhere in countries.
Dont want to cross the line of political correctness.

There ARE feminist who actually DO try to work against the misogyny in third-world countries, even women within those countries. There are a LOT of feminists in Islamic countries.

And also, just because we aren't sold into marriage and are allowed to have jobs doesn't mean we here in the states have to accept a lower paycheck.

I worked with a girl who wears a head-shawl all the time and doesn't wear jeans/revealing/tight clothing. She said she doesn't actually know the religous reasons for wearing the shawl, but she does it anyway. She was taught to wear the shawl so that when she gets married, she knows that the man doesn't just want her for her looks/body - he wants her for her personality. There's no anti-women **** involved. It's just an attempt at making marriage 'pure'.

It's probably different for everyone, but I didn't know this **** and I sure as **** don't trust the internet, so I figured I might as well post it so everyone gets to hear her view (you know - if they want to read it).

I just checked out their Facebook. It seems like they mostly try to make awareness for people with disabilities and depression while trying to fight against harassment and bullying. Instead of complaining about women's oppression, they did side by side comparisons of the different ways both men and women are harassed likewise and differently. I don't know why OC is a ******** . This isn't even feminism. They also promote men's health too.

I will support Feminism as a whole when they band together to donate money to battered women in Africa. Until then they're just bitchy teenagers with their heads up their asses

It's like complaining to teranin that he isn't on the road feeding homeless men but instead spends his time online slandering feminism.
