Like, ******* hate me, but i'm best at sniper, love that class, but even i can at least play other classes well, so if there are two snipers, count me soldier or whatever, i don't get why people feel the absolute need to play their favorite/best class.
I've played every class to get to the point where I can benefit my team by playing any of them. It's just that Sniper is generally often played by bad players in pubs, hence why they get a bad reputation.
The problem with the Sniper and Spy is that they're the classes best tailored to selfish people. They CAN be useful assets to a team if they prioritize priority targets, but generally speaking they're just going to kill everything they can because all that matters is their ego, that's it.
god so many snipers... i love being one but i just go scout or soldier cause its annoying poking your head out the window to have at least seven rounds enter your forehead
I could make comps about TF2, explaining things like class roles, positioning, weapon strategies, loadouts, and whatnot. Would people be interested in that?
Having an actual competitive play comp would be so nice
Everything is complaining about pubs, and the whole point of pubs is playing tf2 without caring about anything but having fun
I'd go over both the basics and competitive. Personally, I feel pubs are more fun when at least most of the people on it are playing the game. I see a lot of new people in pubs who simply don't know what their supposed to be doing or where they're supposed to be. A team of bad players that work together can beat a team of all-stars that are just trying to get kills. I'd want to educate people about why classes have what they have, what a penalty or bonus really means, and how to clear away a defense. I'm a Medic main, and you would not BELIVE how frustrating it is to be on a team full of Snipers and Scouts when a single sentry is mowing down your team. Even worse, a team full of Demomen and Soldier who do not know how to kill a sentry or take advantage of Uber.
I mean yeah, all would be good, so every crowd would be happy
Personally, in pubs, I just play as I go, and only start sweating when I find a good challenge, but I usually don't stay long enough for a whole match nowadays.
But yeah, it'd be nice if somehow, something could be made as help towards newer players to help them with some intricacies of the game, from damage spread to damage drop off, passing through assistance with gamesense
Obligatory mention of how direct upgrades usually do not exist in terms of weapons, only exceptions being situational items that are permbanned in etf2l and UGC (only ones i've been interested in like many others)
Also, I am of the most original, a scout main. At least I can be funky and unoriginal in my own corner.
what? there are servers that do that? so what at one stage your protecting the payload and you're nearly at the end but suddenly your shirt changes colour, the sentry you built starts shooting at you and when the payload lands all you and your beloved team's hard work is wasted on you?
THIS is why i love tf2,
because ye going hardcore leet mlg gamer is fun but not all the time, with tf2 you can **** around,
have fun, talk, play little games, do random **** , it is not just a shooter, it is a community. ******* love it.
I had an hour long wank session trying to find the perfect page of Tasha's Brother, and after I did, I ruined my bedspread, my ceiling, my cats, and my computer. I switch to my phone to save the electronics and navigate to this page while I slowly lose rigidity so I can take one last whiz for the night and see this. Today has been a good day FJ. Goodnight!
