>People thinking Crap Assasin got buffed in Tough Break
The shatter only does 4 damage, melee only does one damage more and 25% faster recharge is not good enough compensation for inability to collect your ball back.
It still beats Stock but Atomizer and Boston Basher are much better.
If you let a close ranged class get close enough to you to OHKO you, its still you're own fault. and no we can a little better since the axestinguisher is back but now we take our time so you feel even worse for lettting it happen to you.
Yeah, you're right. The class with no below average stats including a speed just barely below medic is so easy to avoid. Especially in close quarters. Even in further ranges? Look at those flare guns and their ability to crit from any range.
Dat flare guns fire rate. Crit from any range? Gee no other weapons gonna do that ever. No below average stats? Well damn that sure makes him op with his medium to long ranged weaponry that lets him avoid being mowed down by a heavy or juggled by a soldier since he's way to far away to have that happen to him. Keep going son, i have 5k hours and can explain any reasoning for the strengths this class has. Though i will agree with you if you mention anything about the phlog, i aint no w+m1er but **** that weapons buff just might make that the only viable playstyle left.
Look, all I'm saying is that part of the game is being bad at something.
Because that's part of what makes teamwork such a permeating ideal of TF2. Pyro is not bad at anything. Heavy is supposed to be its' counter. I can walk around heavy with the flamethrower active, right in his face. And in quite literally 3 seconds..... ded. With barely a scratch on me because of one stray bullet or two in his spray. And... juggled by a soldier? Airblasting is a thing. A very. VERY powerful thing. It even turns returned projectiles into minicrits because **** logic. That's not alright. It's also not alright for him to be able to 1 hit remove sappers. When he already 1 hit KOs spies to begin with. Or get crits in *******water. He's a fire using class primarily. That should be the one place he's rendered near harmless. But really? Free crits? Why? How much water is even in the badlands? Surprisingly little if we're talkin valve maps.
It's fine to be useful. You should be. But.... his swiss-army-knife deus ex machina BS is just... too much for me.
But yeah seriously, that debate aside, **** the phlog, before and after the changes. What with the change to the degreaser, as tiny or not as it might be... it's like they're just trying to guide players to W+M1.
I get what your saying, but his swiss army knife kit, its only dependent on what he has. if hes one shotting sappers he's not one ******** 7/9 classes or wet opponents. sure you can fire a heavy to death, but heavy has range on the pyro. he's all flanking, trust me when i say that an aware team that looks around every now and then shuts down the pyro STOP. Not even hard but just STOP in his tracks.
I really don't see the problem people had with the phlog prior to it's update.
Sure it gave you crits, but it wasn't OP by any means, only if you suck at the game you might get that impression.
What made the phlog "op" prior to tough break was the guy behind it.
I mean yeah I agree, phlog post update is ridiculous.
Also **** valve for ruining Engineer.
Every ******* update, Engineer gets worse.
Raped? oh no no. They removed the -10% damage debuff on the phlog and made it guaranteed you get your crit boost due to temporary invuln AND knockback immunity (even though a sticky demo can take out the pyro, that never changed). They gave the axtinguisher its' crit back, but oh boo hoo, it's a little slower and weaker. triple damage is still triple damage. The only thing that really got hurt was the degreaser which.... I don't feel the pain on it, really. it takes an extra 5 ammo now to airblast. Ooooooh noooooo.... And the super easy minicrit shotgun with almost no drawbacks got limited like it should have been.
