Just seriously. Even today when "stop playing sniper" is so often said. There are still servers where half of the team will play Sniper. When you reach the three sniper mark on your team, you should consider changing classes to a more power-focused class (Soldier, Heavy, etc) or even a Medic.
"But snipin' muh main, m8 I'm gud at it" Listen, unless you go all MLG and can annihilate in a close range 4v1 ambush, we won't need you as a 4th sniper.
Because after all, loads of snipers is like Christmas morning for Spies.
Also I'm tired of playing medic for a bit and lacking any power to my team that is worth being pocketed a little.

I was once on a team and was one of 5 snipers on the team on 2 fort. With exception of one, we were all pretty damn good snipers and it literally became a race to see who got the kill on the next person to pop out on the other side. They tried to use ubers to get past us, spies, sticky jumping, it didn't matter. The 4 of us had shut everything down except the sewer, which the our team had fortified. The rest of our guys were pretty much constantly at their door, so they just built up their defenses. This resulted in a 3 hour stalemate. Slowly, our guys pushed them back and eventually won CTP. By the end of the game, each of us (snipers) averaged about a couple hundred kills, which is funny considering almost all of them had stopped popping their heads out after the first hour. We all friended each other on steam and made our own little clan. Probably the best memory I have of TF2

I don't play TF2 much, but I've learned that the less snipers/archers on a team, the better it does. Not one sniper or archer? Team ******* dominates.
