I typically don't reply to something when I'm confused but I had to this time. There must be some joke I missed (highly likely, considering the trends on here change practically by the minute and by having a job, I'm here roughly 1/20th as often as the average user and so miss a lot). April is the 4th month "4". 2020 "20". Thus 4/20. I'm pretty sure I've never written a date with the year first or ever seen it written that way anywhere. Someone redirect me toward knowledge!!!

the US date system goes month/day/year
the European date system goes day/month/year

so for it to be (number)/4/20 for the entire month you would need to be going be the European system

Anytime dates are mentioned, Europeans like to pitch a bitch about how their dating system is so much better than the Americans. Which is probably the dumbest thing to be proud over, but whatever.

No, what I mean is that there's probably going to be some whining about dates, I'm sure. And it seems he doesn't know the reason for any confusion, so I'm just helping him prepare himself for the ********* of stupid.

Well, I mean, in the USA, if you aren't including a specific day, it's notated 4/20.

Either way, I'll be too high to care
