i worked at a pizza place and you wouldn't believe the amount of people that would do this not thinking. also, the amount of people that would order a pizza as pepperoni and cheese and not mean extra cheese, just regular cheese, like a pizza doesn't already come with cheese. it used to drive me crazy. you really can't begin to fathom the amount of clueless or ignorant people until you work in customer service or food service.

I'm sure people have done plenty of stupid **** at the place you work, but the two things you just mentioned aren't really bad. Say there's two people that each want some pepperoni pizza and some cheese pizza and each of them will eat a full pizza. It's easier for them to get two pizza's that are each half and half so they can just eat from one box and not have to keep switching. And if someone wants extra cheese they'll say extra cheese. If someone wanted just a plain cheese pizza you wouldn't expect them to just say "1 pizza please." You'd expect them to request a cheese pizza. So when they want a pizza that has both pepperoni and cheese it's actually much more logical to ask for both instead of just saying pepperoni.

And not every pizza has cheese on it. One of my friends hates cheese pizza.

and your friend has to ask for it without cheese because yes every pizza comes with cheese. ordering a plain pizza, you say either cheese or plain because that's what it is called but ordering a pepporoni and cheese pizza while not meaning extra cheese is like ordering an egg omelet, it's redundant and also a good way to get yourself charged for extra cheese. i also wasn't talking about anybody ordering two of the same half and half pizzas on purpose because that never happened. i'm not saying that there hasn't been a case of that happening, what i was talking about was how many that did it accidentally, which was quite a few. usually because they weren't paying attention or plan out there order beforehand. also, when i say ignorant i don't mean it insulting as in they're stupid, i mean they are oblivious to the way you should act as a customer. when you got to mcdonalds and you stand at the counter with a line behind you and aren't ready to order yet your being ignorant, if you call a pizza place and it takes more than 30 seconds because you haven't figured out what you want ahead of time, that is ignorant and also what i'm talking about when i say you don't realize how many people like that are out there until you work a job that deals with the public. it's worse when you work in an area that few people understand such as IT or electronics.

I'm just going to assume you made some very good points and completely destroyed everything I said before because I don't feel like reading your entire reply.
