Sorry, but I don't exactly judge a persons's "coolness" based on whether he/she smokes or not. It really doesn't matter, and pot should be legalized because, let's face it, the people who are going to smoke will do it regardless of the law. So why not tax weed? At least professional sources could control it, leaving out the gang activity and all that shit.

You must have me confused with a heroin addict or something. I have a 4.6 GPA (not wildly impressive but I clearly I'm not a dumb ass), I draw too, I watch movies too, I don't study but only because I don't need to. I don't work yet but I only recently turned 16 and I'm still in denial about having to get a job soon :/. I plan on traveling the world to find a country other than America to live and die in, because I feel like the latter would happen a lot sooner in this stressed-out, fucked-up nation where any given person could go postal and kill everyone around them. I'm thinking Norway. That was off-topic. I get like 50 bucks a week to maintain the house and I'm perfectly happy with spending twenty bucks to get a nice gram, and even when I have none or don't wanna buy any I have friends that'll smoke me out just to be bros. It helps me unwind, and it makes everything fun. It's a background drug, it doesn't make you escape reality, it enhances reality. I love my life, I don't need to escape it. I don't like my looks, and I don't like my social life, or relative lack-there-of, but those are things I can change. I exercise all the time and I meet new people through weed. I don't do a lot of the athletic stuff you've listed, because I'm no athlete, never was, weed didn't make it that way. But really our lives aren't that different. I respect your choice to abstain from drug use, it's a good choice. But when I was always sober, I spent all my waking hours bored to the brink of insanity. I genetically never had the choice of sports, and I never had any talents capable of occupying my time. All that every interested me was being alone with my thoughts or being with friends, weed brings the best out of me in both fields. So while I respect your choice, I humble ask that you reciprocate for mine.

Weed should be legalized because with the all of the taxes, maybe we could get some proper educational funding.

You'd think so, but the amount of resources involved in taxing cannabis would be astronomical. All private growing of the substance would certainty be illegal, and the Government would make weed illegal for everyone under 21. Best Case scenario, the government un-privatizes it and sells it at "Weed-Depots".
