i got the sapphire one with dirt 3 , runs like a charm , i play at 1920 x 1080 everything on high , AA and MSAA is checking per game

Some games are heavier then other , On Bf i don't put AA and MSAA on max because without it runs better.

Don't buy any ATI graphics cards. They're shit. I had one in the 6k series and it ran like crap.

Nice. Maybe you just got lucky with the card or you have high PC specs. I'm running on a i5 quad core only at 2.6ghz of speed, the card i just got compared to the ati i had is a big difference. Running games at 90+ fps at all times on ultimate.

Mine are decent, not high, but not super low either, just in the middle. You can buy a shit computer for like 300-500 and beef it up with like 300 dollars and it will run just like the 3000 dollar computers people have. Its been done millions of times.

I bought the 6850.
They then also gave me the 6790 in some weird double casing...

i wanted 6850 because it was cheaper and passmark points are almost same (6850 : 2753, 6870 : 2818) but i looked up so benchmarks and saw that 6870 has a lot more FPS in some games that i play(BF3 and BC2) so i am going with 6870 :) ... anyway , you got 6790 gratis ? double casing , maybe its crossfire , but i doubt they would give you crossfire of 6790 for free :)

I dunno. Maybe they just got the orders mixed up.
I may open it up and take it out though, because Crossfire is only useful to me if I hook up 2 monitors. Most games don't support Crossfire either, along with the fact that It's fluctuating wildly when I play games.

lol probably . i think 6850 supports double monitor maybe even triple ( i know 6870 does support triple ) , yeah crossfire gives lots of graphic power but its not meant for gaming because you need separate updates for every game for crossfire and as you said some games don't even release updates for crossfire , just sell it :)

yeah i see , i still got my casing from the times when i was noob and just bought fully built PC ( back in 2008 ) it was designed for AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 5000+ :D and some shitty GPU which i replaced with GTS-250 which surprisingly still works with today's games in combination with AMD Phenom II X4 965 @3.4gHz , so i hope 6870 will fit in my casing , if not i will just open the side of it :)

Well, you only really need a good cooling system if you're overclocking (That is if you have an intel processor). I got some £30 and put it in the back of my casing.
