If you didnt know that was a doobe/blunt/joint and did you know you they fill it with marijuana and did you know they smoke it because of the effect you get? Also if you breath smells like bud/kush/weed/marijuana you will get in trouble because its a illegal drug that makes you peaceful. your world must be forever changed huh?

Actually your breath simply smelling like marijuana is not an illegal offensive you have to be in possession of it.

You see, this depends on the jurisdiction, but most states will constitute having said drug in your system as a possession offense.. This particular statute is what is also used in a lot of "Minor in Possession of Alcohol" cases.. Under the age of 21, unless a parent or legal guardian (In some states) gives the minor alcohol, said minor is not permitted to even have it in their system. (I know, communion stuff, but that is often viewed as a negligible amount of alcohol so it slides.)

In this case, Marijuana has not yet been fully decriminalized and in some states is still illegal without a prescription. Having the illicit substance in your system will constitute as illegal possession, even if it is no longer on your person.

I live in Oregon (and previously Nevada) and neither state has established law claiming anything other than DUI for marijuana in your system for reasons such as

No proof as to where it came from.
For all they know you were around someone with a legal prescription and have a contact high.

No proof as to where you where.
You could have been somewhere that it is legal to use hours before and not yet have it out of your system.

Even if there was a law no cop would arrest you because no court could prove that you're guilty of being in the wrong.

I don't smoke, I don't plan to, I see no point and would rather not run the risk of being thrown in jail but might I ask for one OTHER reason to smoke Weed other than to get high?

Now, that makes sense, that's a good reason but "Shutting my brain up and getting mental serenity" isn't a good reason.

I used to do it to just get high, but I had a baby and had to think about other people than myself. I never had bad cramps until after the pregnancy, but now it gets to the point that I can't walk, and with a 7 month old that has to be carried I need it to make it through the days. But for the two weeks I'm not cramping I do it to unwind instead of having a glass of wine at night when he's in bed.

You could make the same argument with alcohol. Why do I drink, to just beat up my wife and kids? No, to get drunk dammit.

But the "Drunk" equivalent of weed is getting high and the guy I'm talking about doesn't use it to get "High" because apparently he doesn't get high.

It just seems like he is wasting money.

It's seriously not hard. I am a troubled, potentially unstable and strange person but even I can manage to achieve a peaceful state of mind.

And i suffer from a frontal lobe injury which gives me essentially a simmilar mindset to a psychopath, void of emotional thinking and it is nice to be able to shut the endless pool of dribble that is information absorbed from places such as this up :)
thinking about not thinking about something only makes me think about thousands of scenarios in which that has been said, how it was said, mental images of the faces who have said it and of course the times i have thought about thinking of nothing and the endless shit that thought is replaced with instead.

Um, I don't have a bong, I have a pipe, it's much easier to stash away and keep everything in one place, stash, grinder, pipe, lighter, all in one convenient place.

when you are heavy weight you can smoke endless weed and get higher than a lightweight who goes over his limit after 2 spliffs.

i find you just smoke more and get no higher than you would if you had smoked less.
there is a cut off on how high you can get.
the difference is one person is used to the mindset so does not feel the intensity of the high they used to so they smoke more, the other gets all of that intensity and it takes less for them to get high.

that's the thing, heavy weights don't have such a small cut off to how high they get.

so lightweights would stop smoking at there limit which wouldn't even be close to a heavy weights limit.

i say this because i go out some nights with new smokers and they stop after a couple spliffs and me and my mates can go on and on and end up being 100x more high than the new smokers.

Ya see, you just do not get higher, stop smoking for a month then have 3 bongs and tell me the high you had a month ago was a better high.

i've done that, and it was :P well they are two different highs bro. if i smoke a fuck load you have a really trippy and dreamy high where you think alot. if i stop smoking for ages then have a couple bongs it would be more like a light headed lazy high, well that's what i've experienced anyway.
