It started on 4Chan' /sug Steven Universe General board, where they feel that Lauren Zuke has consistently made good episodes, and has yet to make one that was not met with positive reception, one reason being is that most of the ones she does are plot related or drop hints at lore.
As such they have made a thing out of hyping up her upcoming episodes.
As for the asian, I believe that refers to a writer who has made episodes they did not like more than others who work on the show.

Rather than what she did or outing the Crystal Gems if she just said "Yeah there's nothing here, please send a ship to take me home" The CG could have still stopped the cluster as they had the co-ordinates plus the drill and Peridot could have been free
Then you maybe could have had YD say something like "No, you're replaceable"
