OP, who in their right mind would bitch about this awesome figurine? Stuff like that has the allure that drew me into sci-fi, and Star Wars specifically, in the first place, and it is timelessly awesome.

I honestly don't even know how people could, it got like -3 thumbs, but typically, you'll get assholes who see stuff on newest uploads and since it is not one of their interests, they bitch about it, so I just wanted them to "move along, move along." Anyways, it really is an awesome figure and if you are an action figure guy, and you don't have it yet, you should get it for sure.
By the way, is the 'Dash' in your name for Dash Rendar?

Nope!
My interests in Star Wars models has always been limited to Legos, since you can either make an awesome model or modify it and make a completely different awesome model, but figurines like that still fill me with envy.

Well, it's never too late to start a collection! I always liked the ability to create customs with legos with ease, but I started making custom figures, figures within my vicinity are at risk of being pulled apart, reassembled, repainted, and frankenstein'd into another, sometimes glorious creatiom, all made to look like one, with the use of some acrylic paint.

Eh, I'm no good with painting.
I once made this starfighter with a sort of inverted cockpit, where the pilot was underneath the actual ship, and a bomb bay that worked with a lever. It was awesome, and making stuff work like that is extremely satisfying for me.

Oh god, that is the kind of thing that appealed to me when it came to lego. Problem was, I couldn't make it = frustration/rage quit.

Yeah, I had to pack all of my stuff up when my parents moved every year or so, and when it was unpacked all of the essential pieces were scrapped and I couldn't figure out how to reassemble them in the exact way that made them so awesome before. So now I've got a hundred Lego denizens living in a broken city that I halfway unpacked after moving into my apartment.

Make a stop-motion taking place in a post-apocalyptic city. BAM!

Genius! To the camera store!

Lol that's what I'd do, personally.
Or if you have predominantly star wars stuff, then maybe a city that has been sacked or raided by siths or something

Actually, I don't. When I was in Okinawa, I forgot to ship my legos back with the military shipping called TMO and, relying on the promise of my roommate to mail my legos from the barracks, waited for the package for years before giving up and just building with the motley collection I already had in the states.

You are in a military branch?
p.s. that sucks.
User avatar #31 to #30 - dashgamer (05/19/2013) [-]
Yeah, I spent something like $200 on a bunch of Star Wars sets, so it did suck. The darned things are so expensive that anything I build will be only from the assortment from my childhood.

Uncle Sam should be sending some taxpayer money to refund you some god-damned lego sets, I'd rather have it go there than to a worker's union.
User avatar #33 to #32 - dashgamer (05/19/2013) [-]
Eh, I think it got shipped to the wrong address or my roommate kept it for himself. Though, I really doubt it was the last one, because more than once drunk Marines came into my room and knocked the **** out of my hands.
