isnt a lightsaber just a plasma sword tho?
lucas' ******** explanation of "its just light through a crystal" aside, i always thought they were plasma in a strong magnetic field to contain it. which is why other sabers stop each other because of the fields

It's the wrong direction. I'm trying to guide progress.
Unfortunately we do not have a strong enough portable power supply, or a way to limit the lenghth of the "blade" when using actual blazers.
