I went for a piss during this scene when I saw it. Didn't know this happened until today, and I'm so happy I saw it. This is one of those things that makes me glad Disney had a hand in this film.
man i had to take a **** . spoiler so dont click if you havent watched Imissed when Fin and Rey escape with the millennium falcon and was found by Han Solo and Chewie
I really love how the entire movie was pretty much Kylo throwing multiple bitch fits about everything going wrong. When your own stormtroopers walk away like children who notice their mom doing dishes angrily, you're the definition of a little bitch.
dont judge me on this but I think that is the point. Everyone expects him to be strong like darth vader. To have the mindset of a sith lord but inside hes still a child with lots of learning to do. I think thats why these next few movies will be great because it will show amazing character development as whiny bitch turns into a sith lord.
I liked the movie, but... Did they have to make Han Solo's son a ******* pretty boy with anger management issues? He was cool till he took the ******* helmet off, and from there he just kept getting dumber. He was like a teenager with daddy issues.
I think he'll be better in the next movie. Fresh off a big defeat and completing his training, not to mention that killing a family member/loved one is the sith equivalent of steroids.
Oh yeah, and.....I know thats a fanboy thing to be excited about, but i cant wait for the sabers in the next one, I mean Kylo lost his and Anakins came back to Luke. So they all have to build a new one. I still think and hope Finn is actually Lukes son, makes sence to me, what do you do with the son of your greatest enemy, that you dont wanna kill-to use later against him perhaps.......you make him literally sweep **** , the original script called for Finns actor to be part white-part black. (mulatto?....there are way too many classifications for mixed races) So the way I see it Rey and Kylo are bro and sis, and Finn is Lukes son (I guess the mom is as black as the night ) just look at how Han treats Rey, especially compared to Finn, it's almost too obvious, Han ******* knows.
An untrained force sensitive beat force user trained first by Luke Skywalker(Who in Canon is a very, very formidable jedi, fighter, and mentor), that turned to the dark side which is notorious for giving strength too quickly without allowing wisdom to garnish in its users.
I have a problem with this. (Kylo ren did first get shot by that bowcaster but also demonstrated earlier in the movie a surprise blaster shot isn't much of a threat to him. Not to mention when the **** did a single blaster shot in a non war-like situation ever, EVER become a threat to even a mildly trained force sensitive.)
(btw since this reply was hidden behind two spoiler comments I think it is safe to say this will also have spoilers later on.)
I also have a feeling that Kylo will become an ally and become a martyr within the new trilogy.
I mean he has that bitch face that can only lead to an angsty redemption later on.
Also the fact he became nerfed at the end might be because of the incident. Which I honestly thought would make him stronger.
Speaking of the ending I thought Finn and Rey would team up against him, like Finn would become a formidable Lightsaber weilder who has no force, and a smart, but inexperienced with weapons, force user Rey. And the film series progresses to show their ability to work together as a duo.
Oooh my mistake My friends were talking about that stormtrooper with the traitor beating stick and and talking about how kylo ren lost to someone with no lightsaber training and i thought that was finn considering how earlier he lost to someone with only a traiter beating stick while wielding a lightsaber.
it's not a retcon so much. It's an alternate continuity just like they did with the new Star Treks, only better because it doesn't involve silly time-travel plots.
chewie died in the books by having a moon crashed down on top of him while throwing people into the mellinium falcon. unfortunately the books are no longer cannon i would have loved to seen that death scene.
