I killed Paarthurnax because I sided with the Blades, but I took his bones, scales, Septims, and whatever else was on him and dropped them in Sovngarde, on the whale bone bridge, for a ceremonial funeral of sorts.

I spared him because the blades are arrogant pricks.
Their job ended two hundred years ago.
They need to get the **** over it.

The Blades are just ass hats in Skyrim. You save Skyrim from the Alduin threat almost without their help. The only thing they do is forging an invitation for that high elves party for you.
You find their temple, you open their temple, you fill their temple with recruits. And after all that, they're still mad at you for not killing one dragon that doens't hurt anyone anymore. **** thise guys.

The game is almost 2 years old, it's your own damn fault, that's like complaining that somebody spoiled Harry Potter.

Why I killed Paarthunax:

1. Due to all the pain and agony dragons caused us we should not tolerate ANY of them, it's like having someone to come to your place; make you a bitch of him for years and years and then forgiving them.

2. He did horrible things to humans and might go back to the old ways IF he had enough power.

3. Dragons are not to be trusted: they lie and lie all the time, also they see humans as less than they are and will try to enslave humans again, same goes with paarthunax, I have no doubt in my mind that he will **** THINGS UP if he had the possibility to do so (assuming DB isnt around)

You're like a feminist for dragons!

I killed him only because the Blades were being assholes to me everytime I passed one of them.

I sided with Paarthrunax with my first character. The second character I told myself I would do things differently just to see what happens. But then he dropped the line, "What is better? To be born good? Or to overcome your evil nature through great effort?". It was at that moment that I realized the Blades were irrelevant pricks and Paarthrunax was a bad ass.

When they told me to kill him I was like " **** that". But eventually I decided to do it just to see what would happen if I did. Guess what, the blades just go "oh cool whatever". I reloaded that save immediately and spent the next 15 minutes using high level magic to attempt to kill those stuck up unkillable blades.

can you tell they pissed me off?

I killed him because the age of dragons is over.
