Skyrim is a glitchy piece of shit if you play it more than an hour.
When it first came out I would agree with you. But after what, 9 updates, I have to say the improvement is huge. But to be fair a game as large as skyrim is bound to have some glitches even after a year or more after release. There are also tons and tons of mods that can help with the process, and as of now I haven't found anything, glitch, bug, or mod-wise that makes the game unplayable.
Console version. If I could afford a gaming PC, I'd love to get one for Skyrim and all that good shit, the main reason I play console aside from monetary reasons is because all my friends do and I'd like to be able to talk to someone while I play. I really wish they could let you open up the console if you plug a usb keyboard in, and just block achievements regarding how you progressed through a quest. The thing is about the quest is that as far as I know, on console version they set the quest stage code to complete upon looting the eye, rather than turning it in.
Ah, well I have it on the PC so I don't know how it's like on console. I know that there used to be a glitch with esbern where he wouldnt talk or open the door to let you in and you would have to download a fix for it on the PC but it's fixed now. I don't know if it did that on xbox or ps3 but the thing I don't like about console games is you're stuck with what they give you.
The only bugs that I really have run into for the normal game are minor ones with companions derping and such. Although with Dawnguard I have run into a few bugs that forced me to reload to an earlier save because I was not teleported somewhere that was a part of the main quest line for the dlc. I am grateful that it was released for PC, but perhaps a little too soon. That and the game itself was released a bit too soon, when some more bugs could have been worked out.

You're kidding me. All those patches that had to be put out for Skyrim, and shit is still broken. Dawnguard is what, three hours? And it's $20. It was an okay game for what it was, but if you actually play it for a while, it's just shallow and doesn't deserve the praise it got.
