Everyone likes the Elderscrolls game they played first. I'm saying this as a fact because I have not found one person that doesn't, including me.

i am a fellow dark elf but I really dont understand the hatred of Skyrim. I loved all of the 3 recent elder scrolls and went back and tried the first two (barely). i encourage differences in series games it livens it up and makes it fresh, unlike call of duty (see where staying the same made it suck dick).

on another note i think ElderScrolls Online will be the first game i dont start with a dark elf purely because i dont like the faction they were put in, Aldmeri dominion all the way. i also have hope for ESO and think they did several things right with it.

yea but why not start there? im not opposed to the other elves (well maybe the high elves but the wood elves are alright)

It would be interesting to start in the summerset isles, valenwood, or elswyr, but I just can't stand the stuck up high elves or the furry drug dealers. I am personally interested in ebonheart pact because I have been a nord since my adventures across cyrodiil as the hero of kvatch.

Skyrim is seen by some previous elder scrolls fans as "too simple". I agree with them; the ability to become Arch-Mage at with minimal skill in magic/listener of the dark brotherhood when I run in with an axe and hack the all-mighty Talos from them is just ridiculous. But it's great fun to play.

Glorious Aldmeri Dominion's Master Races

it kinda did the same thing as grand theft auto. so much more possibilities and things to do in the older games. But in the newer ones it has more restriction on what you can do but the graphics and gameplay are awesome.

Skyrim was definitely dumbed down in comparison to earlier titles to appeal to more casual gamers. But it's still an amazing game! The only TES I can't stand is Redguard lol.

You wanna know something amazing? I got out from the sewers in Arena in first try in about a half hour.

I agree of their time. Morrowind was mind-blowing of how good it was back then. But as of right now Skyrim just wins in my opinion because of its updated combat style and graphics. Once Skywind is out I will probably play that more than Skyrim and Oblivion combined.
