The ebony mail poisons any nearby enemies. Not sure if you knew this or not.

My tactics on Skyrim is sneak and use a bow. The ebony mail is complete shit when you sneak in first person view. The armor is great but it blocks your sight. However, if you're playing berzerker style (2 hand or dual weapons), it's super good.

well at 7 pm on the game the greybeards go to pray and tho dont get disturbed easily so if you take an iron dagger while sneaking and repeatedly hit them you level up sneak

i have that armor, it hasnt caused me any problems, and they never see me when i sneak even if i sneak in front of them
