You could use a .50 caliber revolver. That'd probably break you're wrist too.

I use mine to kill snakes, also, the shot won't penetrate walls like bullets, much less likely to accidentally hit someone in the next room (or house).

As long as it has a long barrel. I'll want it.
Short-barreled revolvers are for pussies.

Everybody on FJ is always saying that firing a shotgun round single-handedly will kill you or some stupid digestive end product.

I'm still alive. I did it. Pic related, you nogunz faggots.

That reminds me, these guys are the masters of recoil... There's a gun in the game called the Bronco that's modeled after the Raging Bull, and they let you pull the trigger as fast as you can, with almost no drop in accuracy...

S&W 500. beastly gun, so much better. I mean why pepper them when you can launch a slug the size of you're thumb at them?

This is a smaller version and the grips on this gun are awesome, it almost eliminates the recoil.

I support the 2nd amendment and agree that people should be able to have guns for self-defense but digestive end product like this is just ridiculous... there is no need for a civilian to have a gun like that.
User avatar #73 to #36 - thetom (07/13/2014) [-]
there is no need for anyone to have this, even military... not because its too powerful or dangerous but because it's impractical. there's no real reason to own it besides saying you own it and wowing friends at shooting ranges. if someone breaks into you're house your going to grab the real shotgun anyway.

Ah, the Taurus Judge. The gun store that I worked at carried these when they first came out. It led to the owner deciding to simply not carry Taurus anymore, as 7/10 were defective. Problem is, it fires .410 shotshells. The Winchester PDX1 defensive loads are ok, but as far as personal protection goes, .410 buckshot isn't enough to do it in my book. People think "Oh! It a revolver that shoots shotgun shells! That'll annihilate someone! I'm gonna carry it!" Not really.

Basically, in my opinion, not a quality firearm, not a good defensive caliber.
