There is a skyscraper In New York Crulty itarim we windows
hi gettig!.
The Lord of the Rings Is not a trilogy. It was
cheaper for the publishers to break it up into
three books than printing one large book.

the Lord of the Rings series is actually six books divided into three volumes, but yes, the publishers didn't want to publish just one massive book.

That LOTR "fact" is wrong. Tolkien wrote six books, each of which could have stood alone as their own book. Because England was still recovering from WWII, the publishers thought three books would be cheaper to publish than six. It's one story, three tomes, six books.

The LotR was split into three because the price of paper at the time was very expensive due to WW2. This made it cheaper for people to buy them instead of having to sink a ton of money into a massive book that had just come out.

Bonus fact, Tolkien's original name for the "Return of the King" was "The War of the Ring". He didn't like the name "Return of the King" because he thought it gave away what happens in the book.

That's still a trilogy, it's a series of 3.

It's not a 3 part epic, it's one giant epic. But it's most definitely a trilogy
