Censoring in germany is ridiculous sometimes, it's like they're:
"No ve must not enjoy ze violence again, not again! Ve shall never enjoy ze violence again!"

As a German i can confirm these as a fact.
Based on my own experience: 90% of our shooters doesn't contain blood and 98% doesn't contain separated body parts.
But a movie SAW is totally OK on private TV channels.
And The Hunger Games DVD where you can see how a 10 year old got cribbed by an Axe is recommended to watch at a age of twelve. Totally perfect.

I flipped **** as soon I saw the German Version of Left for Dead- you shoot a Zombie and it just disappears or fall to the ground and then
disappears.

At least everyone is absolutely OK with Nude content.

I once played the german version of counter strike 1.6
If you shot someone he sits down and is sad.
Sadly this is not a bad joke.

Germany, teaching kids that if you shot someone 12 times with an AK47 he gets sad and sits down midfight.

Another good example for ridiciulous german censorship:
In Saints Row 2 you had this screen pop up in some cutscenes.

It says: We´re sorry - really bad things happen behind this black screen.

Which really pissed me off, not only because I am an adult and should be allowed the view anything I want, as long it is legal, but because I could´nt follow the ******* story. After a cutscene the dialogue was something like "Oh no, I can´t believe he/she is dead" and you had no ******* clue when and how that happened.

Sorry, can´t find a picture right now, but the best example for German censorship:

In Half-Life 1, if you "killed" one of the friendly guards at Black Mesa, instead of dying, they would kneel down and cry.

True story, was one of the earliest Steam versions I think.

Why the **** would Germany be a clown? They're the exact opposite of that.
