Is she Australian? Her accent seems to be on a permanent walking tour of White People Land.

She's played by Caiti Patillo, Jack's wife and was born and raised in Aus. If you hear her outside of RWBY it is a VERY strong accent.

Well I've lived here most of my life and ain't never heard any Australians sounding like Velvet.

So have I and, having met her in person know she does indeed have a very obvious aussie accent.

Well in episode 8 she sounded like an Australian imitating an American trying to do a British accent. And failed at all three.

She's hardly a professional voice actor, but I think you're exaggerating it a bit.

Besides, you pretty much described an Aussie accent anyway. We sound like freaks of nature.

But it's usually easy to pinpoint. Velvet just couldn't settle on one accent and it was rather distracting hearing her voice trail all over the place syllable to syllable.

I mean, hear what you wanna hear. I always hear the same voice, so I guess it just varies from person to person. I don't have a problem with it anyway

Oh don't get me wrong, I think her voice sounds good and fits with the character's design & personality. It's just the accent that's uncamped.

ruby would do good to use that speed semblance of hers and get the **** out. And Penny may be torn to shreds, possibly literally.

yer i loved the way ironwood (hahaha penises joke) hinted that he himself suffed through something he believes Yang is going through. i also have my doubts that team CRME will be suscfuly with Phyrra, ater all she has fought in tournaments before. and with what happend to yang, and sure sh would be on her guard.

You won't like her when she's Yangry though.
