I figured most fans of the show would like to know this. Rather, they'd prefer it not to be true, but I'm sure you'll want to know. I'd link to the Rooster Teeth site, but it is down atm. Monty Oum passed away yesterday, due to an alergic reaction during a simple medical procedure that left him in a coma. Rest in piece, Monty.

I woke up and I was instantly in tears.
I am never going to forget Monty, he was such a sweet, talented man and it's so unfair that he life was taken so soon.

Here's hoping he's in a better place, wherever that might be.

Have some respect, anon. He's a man that many admired for his talents, and it is understandable that his fans would be upset by his death.
