I havent even finished season 1 yet, really want to watch it but just cant get into it

The animations such as gestures, walks, simple non-combat stuff have imrpoved phenomenally, but the fighting animations have taken a significant hit. Old animations are noticeably reused, hell, in the fight between Mercury and Yang, they pasted in the little one-two she did on Jr. before breaking his Bat-zooka. In the fights that team RWBY and JNPR took part in, there were parts where scenes seemed to outright skip between one another.

I think most of us have noticed. I also think that we knew it wasn't going to be as smooth and flowing without Monty.
