I hope **** hits the fan soon. Also happy on how great some of the fighting animation is, despite Monty no longer being there anymore to help. They'er living up to him well.
The animations such as gestures, walks, simple non-combat stuff have imrpoved phenomenally, but the fighting animations have taken a significant hit. Old animations are noticeably reused, hell, in the fight between Mercury and Yang, they pasted in the little one-two she did on Jr. before breaking his Bat-zooka. In the fights that team RWBY and JNPR took part in, there were parts where scenes seemed to outright skip between one another.
Yeah the animation is pretty **** if you ask me.
I mean, for all I know it could be a great show. But I just can't get past the fact that it looks so bad.
animation is **** because it uses relatively cheap software called poser, the software of choice of monty oum (rest in piece).
rooster teeth could have gotten better software i guess but it's what he was used to.
To be fair, she did kinda **** his leg on purpose, not like she blocked it, she move out of the way and straight knee-capped his punk ass. I think her aggression is going to become a plot point and her tendency to "go a bit to far" is becoming more and more prevalent. Like back in Volume II right after she knocked Torchwick from the mecha, she goes straight for the kill shot even after he's no longer a threat. I think either Yang or Jaune are going to get the first "confirmed kill" of any of the heros in this show.
I noticed something fishy back there... Mercury seemingless did that on purposs.
That mofo fighted 2 second year students single handed without breaking an sweat. He is strong and also smart enough to abuse the **** out of it. His last kick was ... off.
If he seriously wanted to harm Yang, he would have pulled his leg out in the last Minute, and not made an Long flying kick that can be denied. Yang would have been forced to trade kick with Punch and most likely lose, or would have to block, instead Mercury leaves his entire leg open for an clear strike against it... It doesn´t make sense. The only Thing i belief though is that breaking his leg was not part of the plan to get Yang out.
We talk about an smart Little fella that analyses enemys on the fly and knows when to swallow pridge. Cinder seemingless just wants the dangerous parts out of an calculation.
I have a theory on Jaune's weapon being more lethal to humans because it's not Dust powered and Dust powered weapons are more lethal to Grimm. And Jaune seems very similar to how Washington was back in Project Freelancer before he became a stone cold badass who directly, helped or threatened to kill a decent number of Freelancers who were formally much better than him(also just wastes ************* without hesitation like he did to South and Sharkface). I think his personality and lack of crazy skill is going to result in him having a *********** fighting style that's dangerously pragmatic.
true true, someone is definetly going to pepsi soon though, Yang just did the first actual damage to someone, rather than people blocking it with their Aura, I can definetly see someone dieing soon
Penny was never alive to begin though
Also, I think that Jaune has either an extremely strong weapon, or he has an extremely strong aura, we already know he has more aura then most people, if only he'd learn to control it he'd be a beast.
On the wiki, it mentioned when Cardin tried to punch Jaune his fist was repealed back to him, so that could just be his aura or some kind of gravity force field sembalance, which would also go well with pyrrha's magnetism.
So, where do we go from here? Pyrha will become some sort of a demigod, go ******* and wreck mad **** ?
Yang will go to the walla, gets involved with shady dudes and ends up the next villian?
Blake will eat ALL the fish and hide in a cardboard box for the remainder of the season?
Will the whole fleet fall out of the sky thanks to the hacking?
Is someone going to get intimately inolved since the series still lacks a proper love arc?
Will the grim elephants finally take their chance and wreck mad **** ?
Who exactly is the enemy and what is their motivation?
Will old squabbles be able to send the nations back into the chaos of a total war?
Will Schnee's summoning be enough to reverse the coming storm?
Come to think of it, will Weiss swallow her pride and call dad?
Will Winter still be as badass? Protip: yes.
I'm waiting to see someone activate bankai
I'm waiting for someone to be a human/grimm hybrid
I'm waiting for Ozpin to pull out his cane sword
I'm waiting for Penny to be controlled
I'm waiting for Ironwood to turn out to be evil
I'm waiting for proof that this is bad.

Man when i heard that leg breaking sound when i watched this i twitched so hard. this is like the first time they made someone break a bone and it was very very unexpected for how the series was overall. I love it.
