I love the action sequences in RWBY, but I stopped watching it after the first season because I just could not put up with the weaboo cringe moments happening every 60 seconds.
You should check out his older stuff then. I first discovered him through his short "Icarus" around 2007. He also did "Haloid" and "Dead Fantasy" which he put on hiatus when he was contacted by roosterteeth. I still hope he goes back to finish it.
Any time a character reminds you that they are essentially an anime archetype is "weaboo moment." Most of the dialogue reminds me of my highschool anime club, and that's not a good thing.
the second season its way less weeaboo/cringy than the first one, the first season only worth watching so you can understand what is happening on the second season. but only the S2 that is really enjoyable
Can we quit glorifying a web series that only has decent fight scenes? Seriously Monty is awesome at choreography but he couldn't write a plot to save his ******* life.
