actually, its a lot of work to ban bots.
if you were actually playing during the "bot nuke" a year or two back, you would notice an extreme difference.

and contrary to what eatchickendaily said, its not exactly too often you see a bot in a members world,, and when you do, its just a legitimate player thats gotten lazy, not someone trying to sell cash. and if it is, these people are found and banned.

with millions of people playing the game, it is actually difficult to find and ban all the bots without players reporting them. and players typically dont report bots, for whatever reason, probably because its too much work.

honestly i see bots everywhere, whats wrong with them? If people want to risk their account using bots then let them.

Stop playing runescape. It may seem fun now, but trust me you will feel so much better after you quit. I quit two weeks ago, and I'm so happy I did.

Only f2p people get banned for botting. If you pay for membership you van bot all you want with minimal risk, for example, I suicide botted ( its when you bot for a extended amount of time without taking a break ) multiple times for 99 hunter and have not been caught once.

When they returned wildy in 2011 they expected to get the same popularity like 2006
the point is they didn't listen until they found out that there income wented down drastically
they recently released a Wheal of Fortune which gave you a chance to get money/items/xp. if your f2p the prizes aren't spectacular but if your member you get several advantages etc. etc. etc.
