I love runescape more than any game I ever played. The story, the easter eggs, the mods, the quests, all of it is simply amazing. Just exploring the map is fun.

sirfurnace (01/03/2016) [-] I used to make lots of money like this back in old school Runescape. I would make fires with a tinderbox and people would give me their cooked fish to sell. The food was also helpful when I tried to fight the vampire dude in Draynor.

I feel so **** , I became a terrible person as a kid in runescape. I used to play like a good person, doing quests, grinding, making fires like you are supposed to, but I turned, I turned when I was in the witches circle just outside of varrock. Can't remember what quest I was doing but It required me to kill witches. That's when I noticed early level players would run into the circle to try the demon slayer quest and get obliterated. All their items would drop and where mine for the taking. From here it all went down hill, I would spend hours waiting for innocent players to walk into the circle of death and die before touching the alter. It wasn't enough, my greed overcame me and soon I learnt the ways, asking people if they wanted me to gold trim their armour, "look jagex bans your password from chat *******", I had it all but it wasn't good enough. You could trick new players but they never had good items, a rune scimi at best. There was nothing I could do and I wasn't going to pay to play. Eventually in one last **** you to the game that turned me into an arsehole, I gave it all away to a level 7 walking into varrock for the first time.

I kinda did something similar once
but instead of waiting for the newbies to get killed I would go around saying "noob drop party" (something like that) and then I would run in the Wizard's circle with them following me.
Needless to say, a couple died. I took their bones. For some reason some just didn't move at all and just got themselves killed. I never did anything like that after, a while.

I did this as well but it started backfiring when they would grab the first couple of drops and then not go into the circle, lost some decent loot that way.

knoxousfumes (01/04/2016) [-] Haven't played Runescape in years, but before I quit, the last thing I really remember doing was working for some guy in the mines. He paid me a mil for every 1k rune essence I mined and brought him. Gave me upgraded picks for free so I could work fast. 5/7 bossman

Ours is aimed at being a friendly social clan and a lot of us do PvM (player vs. monster) so a lot of killing bosses and stuff. But other people in the clan like to just train skills like fishing and fletching.
