So RvB is about the red and blue teams. They are reject recruits. Over time they got caught up in a conflict between Freelancer loyalists and freelancer rogues. Project freelancer was a special forces program that created soldiers that were very similar to the spartans. Some of the best agents of this program received AIs. They wee computer programs similar to cortana.

These all came from one original called the ALPHA. All the others were illegally taken from the Alpha through a series of turture techniques until the Alpha was but a shadow of itself. One agent went power crazy, this was agent MAINE. Maine was later known as the Meta. An agent called Wahington teamed up with the Reds and blues to defeat the meta. He later turned on the red and blues and worked with the meta and project freelancer to hunt down an AI called epsilon.

Maine died in the end after a fight with Washington following yet another fight with agent TEXAS. Texas is an AI like the alpha, she had an entire suit of armor and was based on a girlfriend the Freelancer leader had once had. Epsilon (the memories of the alpha) went into a capture unit to try and save Texas.

Epsilon was later removed from the unit by the reds and blues assisted by agent Carolina. They then went on to hunt down the project leader.

ill add a bit more. i think they said the reds and blues were just practice for freelancers (remember when wash told them to remember if anything ever happened without them) and alpha is church who is the director. tex is also an ai, made on the memory of the directors girlfriend before she died. also in the last episode it wasnt said, but was clear enough to see that carolina was the directors and tex's daughter. alpha was destroted in an emp but later epsilon sorta turned into him. the whole process took me like 3 times to rewatch the series to understand but you get it, hopefully.

Yeah, you might want to start from episode one(the ones that started with the original Halo CE), if you haven't. Also, the plot before the newer seasons was basically, Texas was killed, the AI Tex was killed, and came back as a ghost(not really, turns out she was an AI as you know, Church was also killed by Caboose, came back as a "ghost"). To preserve itself, Tex's AI, Omega, jumped out of Texas before her death, and into Caboose, then into Doc. Those 100 episodes were basically attempting to stop Omega from fucking over everyone and taking over the world. With a few interesting things included, such as the introduction of Wyoming, being blasted into the future, and Tucker getting impregnated by an Alien. Also, Griff's sister comes in.

Oh yeah, Doc was infected by Omega, then promptly became the great super villain ever, Donut became more gay throughout the series, starting once he got the Pink armor.

yeah haha, and we forgot about lopez

*o* Lopez. I just love how nobody understands him, and he hates them all xD

I really did sort of just give a general idea of the series. Lopez joined Omega, and got his head shot off, but survived.

well it's not like the show isn't good. If I took the time to explain it to them they would get the story of it but not the hours and hours of entertainment and hilarity that watching RvB gives you
