Sometimes parents need to realize that kids often cannot eat adult platters. My mother would always stuff my plate with food to an equal amount of hers and expect me to eat it. I would have about 1/3 or half of it at most and then she would nag me with "Eat it all. There are people that aren't fortunate enough to have such food available."

No, my stomach is full- you do not eat if you're not hungry.
