zombies will suck, I think

Form fitting sunglasses and clothing. Baggy clothing = death. They can grab onto it.
Comfortable running shoes. Bulky boots can be loud and can mean poor coordination.
Primary weapon is a standard M16 but will be set to Semi-Auto.
Secondary is a standard 9mm Beretta.
Melee is a trench knife. Last resort only.
Travel pack will have ample water and ammo, first aid and a knife.
Vehicle is a bicycle. Fast. Quiet.
No music, hold up or anything else. Stay on the move.

This is for Zombie Apocalypse: The Movie
Realistically you wouldn't really use any of those things, except what's in your pack. Maybe the boots in context.

why would you select an un-suppressed weapon for your primary? the sound when the gun is fired will attract more zombies...

They're both really loud. The only thing it will do is decrease by a little bit and change the sound. It could or it couldn't help, who knows.

in my opinion, i would focus on setting traps like landmines or something.

if you do that you have a better chance of hurting a survivor or creating crawlers

well yes, true, but landmines and traps are essential.
step 1: dig a large hole(about 6-7 feet deep and 9 ft by 2 ft wide
step 2: wait for zombies to fall into hole
step 3: several hours later, check the hole
step 4: use a grenade or other explosives to kill all zombies in the hole.
step 5: repeat until all zombies realize that you're beta as fuck and won't mess with you

Step 1: build island in volcano
Step 2: put house there
Step 3: zombies chase you to your house, retract bridge, and watch as they burn to death.
Step 4: ???
Step 5: Profit.

Materials

Potassium Chlorate (Used in Medicine aquired at any good chemical supply co.)
Petroleum Jelly


Round or Square mixing bowl

Stick Round or Octagonally Faceted

(p.s. if you believe square and octagonal then don't try this since you have the brains of a dead slug)

Procedure

1) Crush the Potassium Chlorate Crystals until they look like powdered sugar
2) Mix 9 parts Potassium Chlorate to 1
part Vaseline

Detonate
