That is done with a 3v ultra capacitor, the reason they do that, is because they don't have a internal resistor, so it allows greater current flow, ultra capacitor have a high capacitance level to, so they hold a lot of electrons, I have a couple of these, i'll charge it with my bench power supply and burn shit, it can be very fun sometimes.
No i saw the actual video, Still kinda hard to believe 3v does that, not very much electrical pressure. but look up ultra capacitors, and look at every thing the guy burns it's awesome, and I also like to burn stuff with a high current transformer, store the energy in a cap, then connect a mosfet so I have control over the voltage lol. very hard to find a electrical nerd on this site, to many stupid 12 year olds
Lmao ,thats awesome, And if you don't feel like blowing anything up, they are great for high current projects, I should put that energy into a step up, and try and make a tesla coil with it, wonder how that would look, idk if i could get that to work because of the very low volttage.
That is very true, prob just easier to stick with my neon transformer, but then again I would like to build a solid state tc instead of a spark gap one, because I wanted tto make a singing tesla coil, I could do it there, because If i'm going to wire all that, might as well as wire an inverter to get the ac wave, And we are prob really screwing with the people of fj, when they read this there mind has to be full of fuck
If one over loads the voltage, once they get full, they won't explode, unless you try and force more electrons in it with more voltage. if they exploded when they get full, every thing in your room would blow up, and when I blow them up, they have this horrible smell of burnt peanuts, almost sicking to my stomach.
